Trip Overview

Green Rice currently offers three distinct one-day cycling tours departing from Ho Chi Minh City, each offering a unique perspective on local life. Every Green Rice day trip combines a cultural immersion element—such as handicraft workshops, farming demonstrations, or a local family meal—with high-quality cycling on Trek Marlin mountain bikes. Choose the trip that best suits your style, or join all three during your stay.

All three day trips include hotel pick-up and drop-off from Ho Chi Minh City, an English-speaking tour leader, a full support vehicle with mechanic support, bicycle hire and basic maintenance, drink and snack stops, and a home-hosted or local lunch.

Cycling Tour 2

The one-day offerings feature three distinct routes: first, a peaceful historical ride to the Cu Chi Tunnels (GRT-1D-CUCHI) cycling 28 km along the Saigon River and rubber groves to the quiet Ben Duoc site; second, a coconut palm immersion in the Mekong Delta — Ben Tre (GRT-1D-BENTRE) cycling 29 km with hammock coffee, a coconut candy workshop, and sampan cruising; and third, a longer rural ride through the Mekong Delta — Dragon Fruit Plantations (GRT-1D-DRAGON) cycling 56 km past Cho Gao dragon fruit orchards, a Mekong ferry crossing, and ancient Oc Eo archaeological ruins.
